Jupator The Genie
One day I was on my daily run when I saw at the corner of my eye a lamp peeking out of the dirt. So I stopped to go see what it was. When I got it out I decided to rub the outside to see what it said. It said “Toose aflouse Deptose elesa Guesa Jupator ey”. Once I read the words aloud I instantly knew something was wrong. So I set the lamp on the ground in front of me. I backed up a few paces, then it happened,,, a genie popped out of the lamp and said his name was Jupator. Jupator was dressed like a rag. His pants and shirt were torn. His shoes had a lot of holes and were torn up. The one thing that stood out to me was that his skin was a dark blue death color. Jupator asked, “Who rubbed my lamp and set me free, are you the one?” I said “yes, but who are you and what is wrong.”
“You have set me free from my trap, and now I will grant you three wishes.”
“OK my first wish is…to be unique and be ok with it. My second wish is to be able to be friends with everyone. My third wish is to be an amazing doctor when I grow up.”
“Ok that can be arranged.” So the Genie went back in his lamp and came out with a potion. Jupator said “Take this when you go to sleep tonight, and in the morning, your wishes will be granted.”
The next morning came and I woke up with everything wrong. Jupator granted everything that was the total opposite of my wishes.. My first wish made me hate they way I looked and was not comfortable with myself. My second wish made me be enemies with everyone. My third wish made me end up at the dead bottom of my class instead of being the best.
At the end of school that day I went to go find Jupator and his magic lamp. When I found him he said that he could not fix what was done and that I would have to live with it.
So he went back in and was never seen again. Until 200 years later when kids were playing in the mud and dug up the lamp and read the saying. The genie come out of the lamp and ruined their lives for ever. This genie has been haunting people for over one thousand years and still has not been caught. Well, I ended up hating life until I died of depression and stress.
