A Horror Story

Whilst investigating the death of a local swordsman, an energetic mechanic called Sneezle Tenzington Jr. uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, enchanted map circulating throughout Rosewell. As soon as anyone uses the map, he or she has exactly 101 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look skeletal. A marked person feels like a magical lizard to touch.

Sneezle gets hold of the map, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: an old-fashion puppy balancing on a dirty swordsman, an old newspaper headline about an unfortunate accident, a hooded monkey ranting about Hands and a drinking well located in a wild place.

When Sneezle notices his eyes have horse-like properties, he realises that the curse of the enchanted map is true and calls in his friend, a private detective called Tuffly Gloop, to help.

Tuffly examines the map and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before her eyes. She finds the old-fashion puppy balancing on a dirty swordsman particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death. Sneezle and Tuffly pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded monkey. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
